FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do I place an account, for collection, with LSI?
A.
LSI provides you with several quick and efficient ways to refer your accounts, to us. We accept claims, individually, or in bulk, via on-line transfer, tape-to-tape, diskette, cd, secure FTP, or by regular or courier mail. We are also available to discuss and accept your submission/s by telephone.

Q. What happens when I place an account for collections, with your company?
A. Unless we are instructed differently LSI will send an initial demand letter, to the Debtor. This will properly notify the Debtor of our involvement and allow them to be pro-active in resolving the matter. If no response is received, an LSI collection specialist will quickly make contact with the decision-maker, at the Debtor's primary location, and work towards an immediate solution.

Q. Many collection companies allow so many days of "fee-free" collections. Do you?
A. LSI will negotiate specific "free demand periods", or "fee-free periods" to meet our clients needs.

Q. What if the Debtor returns unused merchandise, will LSI charge us a fee?
A. Yes, LSI will assess a fee equal to ½ (50%) of the original agreed-to-fee.

Q. If the Debtor calls us, should we discuss the issue and make a deal, with them?
A. As a rule of thumb; No. Often the reason you have received this call is because our collector is pressuring the Debtor to pay, the full amount, immediately. Any intervention may eventually weaken our collective chances to recover the full amount, if anything.

Q. Do you make a few calls and then just "give up"?
A. No. LSI has continually enhanced our personnel and processes to assure that a collectable account is collected and that an uncollectable account is either referred to an attorney or recommended for write-off.

Q. Speaking of attorneys, what is that going to cost?
A. As a general rule, if an attorney collects, without suit, the overall cost will not significantly increase. If, in fact, suit is required and approved, by you, the total cost to collect will increase by as much as 15-20%, including any non-contingent fees. Our client always has the final say, prior to any action.

Q. What type of access can we have, to our account information?
A. LSI can provide you with access to the vital statistics, on each of your placements. This includes amounts, changes and comments, and statistical reports, to monitor our results. You may access this information, through our web-based, password-protected, information site.

Q. What type of reports will you provide us with?
A. LSI has several types of on-line or paper reports covering areas of current collection status, collection results, and remittance advice (trust statement).

Q. Is LiquiDebt Systems licensed and covered by insurance?
A. Yes, LSI is licensed in each of it's home states and others, required by their state statute. LSI has also invested wisely in adequate bonding and E&O (errors and omissions) coverage, to assure our client's the utmost protection, in a litigious society.

Q. Does LiquiDebt have a "start-up" or annual fee?
A. No. There is no up-front, or reoccurring cost to do business with LSI. If your company allows LSI to handle your pre-collection needs, those will be charged on an "as needed" and "as used" basis.
